The date of the conference has been timed to coincide with two others — World Teachers’ Day and #TeachersTalkShop third year anniversary.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The conference will serve as a networking and sharing platform for active ELT professionals from Belarus. Participants will present and share their English language teaching experiences on a wide range of topics.
U.S. education professionals who have just arrived to teach at Belarusian universities under Fulbright and English Language Fellow programs will present along with Belarusian teachers of English. We anticipate productive discussions and fruitful exchange of ideas. English teachers rock!

Refreshments and conference materials will be provided for the participants. Those residing outside Minsk will be offered a one-night accommodation.

Time: 10:00-18:00 on Saturday, September 29 (schedule subject to minor changes)
10:00-15:00 on Sunday, September 30 (schedule subject to minor changes)

CALL FOR PAPERS
Potential speakers are invited to deliver presentations (duration to be discussed, starting from 30 minutes upwards) on current aspects of English language teaching based on their practical experience.
Some (brief) statement of theory (relevant research, central purpose of an activity, etc.) is expected to be part of a presentation, while the main focus is expected to be solving a teaching-related problem / introducing a specific teaching technique or similar (with some handouts and/or audio-visual aids).
Please sign up for the conference and submit an abstract (for a plenary, discussion group, workshop, teaching tiip session) and its details such as desired format, duration and equipment required, for consideration by our panel to teacherstalkshop@gmail.com by September 14, Friday.
Three reviewers will look into all proposal submissions: Natalia Sedounova (CELTA trainer, book author, English Teaching professional), Olga Sak (DELTA holder, English Teaching and Assessment professional), Natalia Koulinkovitch (#TeachersTalkShop founder and coordinator, English Teaching professional) and will have the opportunity to provide comments to the submitting author.
